Methodology

How CremaView compares listings

The goal is not to declare what an item is worth. The goal is to show the market evidence around the asking price.

1. Match the exact model

CremaView separates model generations and variants where the distinction materially affects comparability.

2. Select comparable observations

Comparable listings are filtered by canonical model and, where relevant, generation, country, voltage and listing type.

3. Show the evidence

Results prioritize source listings, asking prices, observation dates and sample size. Confirmed sale prices are shown separately when genuinely available.

4. Add context only when supported

Listing-specific context such as documented service, warranty or original packaging is shown only when the source clearly supports it. Otherwise it is omitted.

What CremaView does not do

CremaView does not determine fair value, guarantee condition, certify seller claims, or tell a buyer what they should pay. It presents observed market evidence to support the buyer’s own decision.
